Amazon services, one seller account at a time, founder-led

Shelfcrest offers Amazon agency services for private label and DTC brands: listings, advertising, operations, protection and growth into Walmart. Every engagement starts with a written audit, every rule we work to comes from Amazon's own pages, and the person who audits your account is the person who does the work.

How Shelfcrest's Amazon agency services work

The ads tier of the Shelfcrest crest: parcels running faster along the outer lane
Tier 03 of 05 · services

Shelfcrest is a founder-led Amazon agency. That means one person, not a rotating team, audits your account, writes the plan and does the work, and you talk to that person directly. Read how Shelfcrest works and who is behind it before you book anything.

It also means we take on fewer brands, and say no when an account needs more hours than one senior person can give.

Every engagement starts with a free written audit. We look at listings, advertising, account health, inventory and fees, and send a document that says what we found, what we would change first and why, whether or not you hire us. The audit is the best way to judge an agency: it shows whether they understand your account before you pay anything.

The work happens inside your Seller Central account, through the user permissions Amazon provides, so you keep ownership of the account and can see every change. Amazon's help shows how narrowly permissions work: some settings, such as Listings Status, can only be changed by users granted inventory rights. We ask only for the access each service needs.

Everything we write and change is built on Amazon's own rules: Seller Central help pages, Amazon Ads guides and Amazon's seller blog, read at the source and dated. Where Amazon does not publish something, such as ranking weights, we say so and test instead of guessing. Our guides in the Listing SEO, PPC, FBA and account health sections are the same research, published.

We will not claim results we have not produced. Shelfcrest is new, and this page shows no client logos, revenue figures or testimonials, because inventing them would be the first broken promise. We are also not a member of Amazon's Service Provider Network or the Amazon Stores Agency program, and we say so on our Amazon SPN guide.

Amazon runs its own agency program.

The Amazon Stores Agency program gives partner agencies a dedicated partner development manager, and Amazon says brands referred through it may qualify for incentives worth $50,000 or more, with an account manager for up to a year for qualified new sellers. If you are launching a new brand, ask any agency, including us, whether they are in it and what that would mean for you.

The services below cover the full seller journey. Listing SEO and catalog management get products found and shown correctly. PPC management runs Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and display ads against a break-even ACoS. Account management, inventory consulting and reimbursement keep operations healthy and recover money Amazon owes. Brand protection, storefront design and Walmart management grow the brand beyond a single listing.

Agencies usually describe themselves as either full service or specialist. A full service Amazon agency runs everything: listings, advertising, inventory management, account health and often supply chain and content. A specialist does one thing, such as PPC advertising or listing optimization, very deeply. Shelfcrest can work either way: one service on its own, or full account management with one person accountable for the whole account.

Whichever model you choose, the work should be data driven in the plain sense: decisions made from your own numbers, not a template.

The data is already in Seller Central and the Amazon Ads console: Business Reports for sessions and conversion, search term reports for what shoppers typed, Search Query Performance for brand searches, and the account health dashboard for risk. Our reports show those numbers each month, next to what we changed.

Content and marketing sit inside the services rather than beside them. Listing copy, A+ Content, Brand Store pages and ad creative are written to the same keyword map, so the product page, the store and the ads tell one story. Growth strategy comes last, once the basics hold: a new product, a new marketplace, or more advertising, chosen from the numbers.

On case studies: we will publish them when we have them, with the client's permission and the numbers they agree to share. Until then, the free audit, our published guides and the written plan are the evidence you can check. Any Amazon agency's results should be verifiable, and it is fair to ask for that before you sign.

Most brands start with one service, usually the one the audit shows is costing them most, and add others only when the first is working. Full account management combines them for brands that want one person responsible for the whole account.

Pricing is published on our pricing page, so there is no sales call needed to learn what a service costs.

What we do not offer matters too. We do not buy reviews, run review schemes, create duplicate listings, or promise rankings, and we do not use tactics Amazon's policies prohibit, because the account at risk would be yours.

The services share one growth strategy. Listing optimization raises conversion, which makes every advertising campaign cheaper per sale; better performance in ads brings sales that help the product in search; healthy inventory and account health keep both running.

Brand protection and a Brand Store keep the traffic on your products. Marketing strategies that skip a step, such as scaling ads on a listing that does not convert, usually cost more than they return.

Behind every service is the same expert: one person who has read the rules for each part of the account, rather than a team where the PPC manager never sees the listing. For ecommerce brands selling on Amazon and their own website, the same person can align the Amazon plan with the rest of the business.

Each service page lists what is included, what is not, how the work is measured and the Amazon rules it follows. The free audit is the same for every service: a written read of the account, with the first three changes we would make.

What changed in 2026 for sellers who outsource

Changes in 2026 that shape what sellers outsource on Amazon: prep ended in January, commingling ended in March, accurate handling times from June, and Seller Assistant workflows from September. January 1 March 31 June 29 September Amazon prep ends commingling ends handling time rule AI workflows
More work moved to sellers, and more tools arrived

Amazon moved work back to sellers in 2026. It ended its US FBA prep and labeling service on January 1, ended commingling on March 31, so resellers now label every unit, and from June 29 requires accurate handling times for seller-fulfilled SKUs. Fees changed on January 15, with holiday peak fees from October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027.

At the same time, Amazon's own tools got stronger. Seller Assistant now runs workflows that monitor and act within guardrails, and a new plugin brings it into Amazon Quick and, in beta, Anthropic's Claude. Good agency work in 2026 uses these tools rather than competing with them, and spends human time on the judgment they cannot supply.

The question every service answers to

value = profit gained or protected - what the service costs

If a service cannot show that line improving, in your own numbers, within an agreed time, it is not worth keeping. We put the measure in writing before starting.

Which service to start with

The order Shelfcrest recommends: a written audit, then fix account health and listings, then advertising, then operations, then growth. Audit Health Listings Ads Growth free, written fix what blocks sales convert the traffic buy traffic that pays brand and channels
Fix what blocks sales before buying more traffic
  1. Start with the audit

Free and written. It tells you which problem is costing most, and whether you need an agency at all.

  2. Fix what blocks sales

Account health issues, suppressed listings and stockouts come before anything else; no ad fixes a listing Amazon will not show.

  3. Make the listing convert

Listing optimization and catalog cleanup, so the traffic you already have buys more often.

  4. Then buy traffic

PPC management, run against your break-even ACoS, once the listing converts.

  5. Protect and recover

Inventory planning, reimbursement claims and brand protection keep what you earn.

  6. Grow the brand

A Brand Store, Walmart, or a second product line, when the first is healthy.

How to judge any Amazon agency

Whoever you hire, including us, these six checks separate an agency that helps from one that only reports:

The listing tier of the crest: parcels carrying clean printed labels as they move along the shelf
CheckWhat to askA good answer
The auditCan I see your written audit before signing?Specific findings about your account
The measureWhich number will improve, and by when?Your own metric, in writing
AccessWhat permissions do you need?Only what the service needs
SourcesWhere does this rule come from?An Amazon page, not a rumor
EvidenceCan I see real results?Verifiable, or an honest no
ExitWhat happens if I leave?Your account, data and campaigns stay yours

Revenue growth is the result everyone wants, but it is the last number to move. Leading signals come first: conversion rate on the listing, advertising cost per sale against break-even, account health, and stock cover. An agency that reports those, and explains changes in them, is managing the business; one that reports only sales is describing it.

The same applies to scaling: more ad spend or more products only makes sense once those signals hold.

Scale matters less than fit. A large team can support many accounts; a founder-led agency gives each account the same senior person. Ask who will do your work day to day, how often you will hear from them, and how support works when something breaks on a weekend.

Be wary of guaranteed rankings, review programs, or results you cannot verify. Amazon publishes no ranking formula, prohibits incentivized reviews, and can act against the account for both; the risk is always the seller's, not the agency's.

Our Amazon consulting service includes a second opinion on an existing agency's work, if you want an outside read before changing anything.

Sources first, then the example

  • Rules come from Amazon. Every limit, requirement and prohibited term is taken from Seller Central help and linked, with the date it was last read.
  • Examples are marked. Worked examples use illustrative products and say so. No client data appears in a guide.
  • Dated, and revisited. Amazon changes listing rules and fees. Each guide shows when it was last verified, and fee and policy pages are reviewed at least once a year.
  • Corrections are public. If a guide is found to be wrong, it is fixed and the change is noted at the bottom of the page.
